DISCLAIMER FROM GREENWOOD FISH MARKET ON UNAUTHORISED OPERATIONS BY THIRD PARTIES IN XIAMEN, CHINA

We, the owner of Greenwood Fish Market (a well-known seafood restaurant and fish market in Singapore), would like to inform our customers and the public that our business is not in any way associated, affiliated or connected with the restaurant “Greenwood海鲜西餐” operating in Xiamen, China (“Unauthorised Xiamen Business”).

It has come to our attention that third parties from Xiamen, China, namely 厦门格氏品牌管理有限公司 and 厦门格氏餐饮管理有限公司, have set up the Unauthorised Xiamen Business at the 4th floor of Xiamen Underwater Sea World.

The Unauthorised Xiamen Business has copied Greenwood Fish Market’s get-up, trademarks, and general set-up without our consent or authority, and has made various false claims that it is related to the Greenwood Fish Market business in Singapore. Screenshots of their WeChat account and photos of the Unauthorised Xiamen Business can be found below.

The actions of the Unauthorised Xiamen Business constitute acts of unfair competition and false and/or misleading advertising which attract legal liability under the laws of the People’s Republic of China. We are currently taking steps to enforce our rights against this Unauthorised Xiamen Business in China.

This disclaimer is intended to inform and prevent any confusion on the part of our customers, partners and stakeholders which may arise due to the unauthorised use of our company’s name, trademarks and/or brand by the Unauthorised Xiamen Business.

我们注意到，来自中国厦门的第三方，即厦门格氏品牌管理有限公司和厦门格氏餐饮管理有限公司，在厦门海上世界四楼设立了未经授权的厦门门店。

未经授权的厦门门店在未经我们同意或授权的情况下，抄袭了Greenwood Fish Market的商标、装饰装潢和总体设置，并作出各种虚假声明，称其与新加坡Greenwood Fish Market的业务有关。未经授权的厦门门店的照片以及他们的微信公众号截图如下所示:

未经授权的厦门门店的行为构成了不正当竞争和虚假宣传，根据中华人民共和国法律应承担法律责任。我们目前正在中国对该未经授权的厦门门店采取措施以维护我们的权利。
